HISTORY OF HOTH: Hoth is a barren frozen wasteland. Extreme weather and it's remote location make Hoth less than ideal for settling by most beings. However there are opportunities for enterprising adventurers on Hoth due to the amount of space wreckage that can be found littered about the planet's surface and just below. This wreckage left over from the great war has great salvage value and has even served to be recovered and remade into functional starships for use by the pirates who stake claims on the planet. It is this very space wreckage that has brought both the Sith Empire and the Republic forces back to reclaim their technology and hardware. While undergoing their respective recovery operations, the Sith Empire and the Republic have engaged each other and are dug in while vying for control of the planet.
